The theme of GGJ 2024, is ‘Make me laugh’. The theme is quite difficult in my opinion, but we did really good!

Our game is called ‘MEME Warrior’, it’s a top-down 2D boss fighting game, but – you are attacking with MEME!

During this project, I lead a team of 6 people including me. I am the only programmer, Unity developer, and helped with game design. We also have other 2 designers, 2 artists, and one map & meme designer.

We are really fortunate that the development process went smoothly, and we did not stuck on any bugs! This two day jam really tested my Unity development skills, and I think I did not waste one single minute. My years of game dev experience also pays off, and I found myself viewing the game idea logically and analytically, and was able to frequently bring the ideas back on track.
